Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Sanitation Associate in Lathrop, California to keep facilities clean, safe, and ready for operation. This role supports our warehouse environment with thorough sanitation schedules and daily cleaning tasks.

You'll work a Tuesday to Saturday shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm, earn $19.20 per hour with overtime available, and receive benefits from day one. Ryder fosters a team-oriented culture committed to safety and career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more warehouse experience preferred.
• Equipment certification may be required depending on location.
• Ability to read location, date and product codes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow up practices.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning restrooms, break room, locker room, and office areas per sanitation schedule.
• Cleaning exterior areas of the building, including windows and walkways per sanitation schedule.
• Sweeping and scrubbing the warehouse floors and office areas per sanitation schedule.
• Wiping down racks, guard rails, and walls in the warehouse and office areas per sanitation schedule.
• Additional duties as assigned, overtime as needed.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and tour ready facility.
• Assist Maintenance Techs as required and light maintenance activities such as painting.
