Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Sanitation Associate in Lathrop, California to support clean, safe warehouse operations. Weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package accompany this role.

You will clean restrooms, break rooms, and floors using a floor scrubber and other sanitation equipment on a Tuesday–Saturday schedule. Overtime opportunities exist; training and safety gear are provided to help you excel in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience in a warehouse environment is helpful.
• Ability to read location, date and product codes is important.
• Good verbal and written communication for team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Clean restrooms, break rooms, locker rooms, and offices per sanitation schedule.
• Clean exterior areas including windows and walkways; empty trash per schedule.
• Sweep and scrub warehouse floors and office areas regularly.
• Wipe racks, guard rails, and walls; maintain sanitary conditions.
• Perform additional duties, overtime as needed.
• Keep facility safe, clean, and ready for tours and operations.

• Hourly Pay $19.20 per hour


• Overtime Pay $28.80 per hour


• Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 6:00am - 2:30pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred


• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred


• Depending on location may be required to be equipment certified


• Ability to recognize and read location, date and product codes


• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Cleaning restrooms, break room, locker room, and office areas per sanitation schedule.


• Cleaning the exterior areas of the building, including windows, walkways, and emptying trash containers and receptacles per sanitation schedule.


• Sweeping and scrubbing the warehouse floors and office areas per sanitation schedule.


• Wiping down racks, guard rails, and walls in the warehouse and office areas per sanitation schedule.


• Additional duties as assigned, overtime as needed.


• Maintains a safe, clean, and tour ready facility.


• Assist Maintenance Techs as required and light maintenance activities such as painting.
