Warehouse Sanitation Associate
Schedule: 7:00 PM - 3:30 AM Sunday - Thursday
Pay: $15.00 per hour

SUMMARY Maintainand keepcleanall areas around the facility tocomply withthe guidelines and standards set forth by the government and other agencies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Restock supplies as needed in all the following areas:
• Bathrooms once daily (office, warehouse, garage, body shop, and offsite location)
• Lunchroom (office, warehouse, and garage)
• Coffee areas (office and warehouse)
• Sweep aisles / dock areas and keep all warehouse areas free from debris and up to food grade standards.
• Empty recycle bins in office areas.
• Empty and clean garbage cans (warehouse, parking lot, garage, and body shop).
• Bale shrink wrap and cardboard in accordance with training and established procedures.
• Clean up spills, debris, trash and any other debris as needed in all areas of the premises inside and outside, in accordance with GMP's and company food safety plan including properly maintaining food allergen controls.
• Floor scrub aisles and dock areas.
• Clean and wipe down walls and ledges.
• Sweep parking lot in front of docks and common area.
• Clean bathrooms, break rooms, and coffee areas minimum of once daily (office, warehouse, and garage).
• Assist with snow removal and maintaining safe walking and parking surfaces to and from the buildings.
• All duties as required to maintain company safety and sanitation requirements as outlined in the facility food safety plan and in accordance with documented daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sanitation tasks.
• Other duties as assigned by company management.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Ability to safely operate a rider pallet jack and sit-down forklift.
• Ability to safely operate a sit-down and walk behind floorscrubber, including proper cleaning and care of the scrubbers.
• Ability to safely operate mobile work platform (i.e., scissor lift).

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Hazardous material knowledge and training.
• Knowledgeable in the use of a baler.
• 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles with ability to apply theory of the operation

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Moving self indifferent positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift equipment up to 100 pounds.
• Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
• Must possess visual acuity, i.e., close, distance, and color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust.
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Operating machinery and/or power tools / Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
• Noisy environments/Hazardous conditions
• Must possess visual acuity, i.e., close, distance, and color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust.
• Ability to work in temperature varied environments for extended periods of time, ranging from -10 degrees F to 90 degrees F, and handle the demands of the departments.
