Construction Resources, Ltd. in Charleston, SC is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee the warehouse and sales floor, manage orders and inventory, drive the slab program, and lead a team to meet annual and monthly sales goals while delivering a great customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business management or equivalent; or 3 years’ industry experience
• Must be available to work +40 hours as needed including nights and weekends
• Must be able to accept and provide straightforward feedback to management
• Positive attitude, great energy and interpersonal skills
• High level of integrity, trustworthy, and confidentiality
• Ability to lead critical conversations to improve branch operations
• Goal oriented and able to lead as an individual process expert

Responsibilities

• Support a safety-first culture by role modeling safety
• Introduce and implement new procedures and policies within branch
• Delivery execution and efficient route planning to support customer experience
• Manage cut slab processing and inventory integrity
• Oversee return slab process and procedure
• Drive team to achieve annual and monthly sales/revenue goals
• Maintain physical inventory integrity
• Coordinate escalated customer requests
• Document damaged materials in IMS with photos for sell-through
• Communicate operational needs across branch management, customer service, warehouse, and sales
• Train employees and develop business operations for seamless daily operation
• Manage inbound and outbound inventory transfers and delivery confirmations
• Support scheduling of extended shifts, evenings, and Saturdays as needed
• Assist in opening/closing branch operations in rotation with management
