Job summary

NFI in Jenks, Oklahoma, seeks a Warehouse Safety Supervisor to lead on-site safety, training, and compliance, focusing on forklift operator onboarding, trainer development, and certification management.

The role collaborates with Operations, HR, Maintenance and the Safety/Quality Manager, conducts audits, supports incident investigations, and drives continuous improvement of the site safety culture. Availability for 1st shift; reports to Site Safety/Quality Manager.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of safety-related experience in distribution, warehousing, or manufacturing.
• Experience operating and/or training on powered industrial trucks.
• Strong understanding of OSHA standards and warehouse safety practices.
• Ability to deliver training, coach associates, and influence safe behavior.
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal).

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site safety, training, and compliance activities for the facility.
• Oversee forklift operator onboarding, evaluation, and certification maintenance.
• Supervise sanitation team and ensure sanitation audits and logs.
• Conduct daily/weekly/monthly safety audits and OSHA/compliance observations.
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions with the Safety/Quality Manager.
• Model safe behavior and provide safety coaching to operators and supervisors.
