Key responsibilities (title) What you'll be doing day to day

As a Safety & Security Worker at our Distribution / Customer Fulfillment Center, you will:

  1. Ensure compliance with IKEA Risk Management Standards through audits, follow-up, education, training, and reports.
  2. Respond to all accidents and provide basic first aid and/or CPR.
  3. Perform accident investigations and complete reports.
  4. Ensure building and premises security, monitor security video feeds, and respond to alarms.
  5. Respond to various security situations including injuries, medical events, natural disasters, theft, threats, fraud, misconduct, and trespassing.
  6. Work with the Safety and Security Manager and other leadership to investigate sensitive issues.
  7. Report injuries, slip and falls, near misses, and Workers Compensation incidents via electronic reporting and phone systems.
  8. Contribute to a culture that embraces diversity among co-workers and customers.

Job details: Full-time, hourly, 34-40 hours/week, shifts including evenings and weekends. Pay range: $21.49/hr - $30.63/hr. Closing date: on or around 05/19/25.

  • Ability to lift, sit, stand, walk for shifts; lift up to 50 lbs
