Job summary

Philabundance seeks an Operations Safety Coordinator to develop and oversee comprehensive safety programs across Warehouse, Transportation, and Facilities. This role ensures regulatory compliance, promotes a proactive safety culture, and delivers hands-on training to staff and volunteers.

The position requires extensive warehouse experience, strong knowledge of transportation safety, and the ability to train and coach teams in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations.
• Proven track record leading safety programs in a high-volume warehouse.
• Experience in transportation or fleet safety management.
• Ability to train and coach frontline operational staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive safety program across all operations.
• Establish safety policies, SOPs, and training standards.
• Lead safety initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
• Oversee OSHA and DOT compliance, audits, and documentation.
• Conduct safety training for staff, drivers, and volunteers.
• Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
