Job summary

Nucor Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Runner at Nucor Steel-Hertford County to assist with housekeeping, store and issue parts, and support production. You will use computerized systems, manage inventory, and help with safety and continuous improvement projects.

The role requires basic MS Office skills, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and flexibility to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with area housekeeping and safety efforts; receive, store, inventory and issue parts and consumables from stock for production and maintenance personnel.
• Expedite the plant delivery service and coordinate with internal teams.
• Work with computerized systems to perform warehouse functions; perform cycle counts.
• Lead and support safety and continuous improvement projects.
• Cover rotating shifts and work scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
