Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a Repack Selector to pick items from repack aisles, stage products for loaders and ensure accurate, safe handling. This full-time 2nd shift role requires standing, bending and lifting as part of daily duties.

The position offers paid training, weekly pay, benefits from day one and opportunities for career progression, with a start time at 7pm and location in Windsor Locks, CT.

Qualifications

• Attendance required for all shifts.
• General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or High School Diploma.
• Initiative, productivity, quality and safety values are expected.

Responsibilities

• Read order sheets to locate items in repack area.
• Remove units from full cases in specified quantities.
• Put away incoming product and check pick-slot quantities.
• Stage product for loaders and ensure item pick accuracy.
• Maintain aisle sanitation according to policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

As a Repack Selector, you will be responsible for selecting individual items from bulk packages in repack aisles, maintaining order of repack aisles, and racking pallets of incoming product.

• Earn $23.00 per hour
• Full Time, 2nd Shift - Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
• 7pm start time
• 500 North Street, Windsor Locks, CT 06096

You will contribute by:

• Reading order sheets to find items in repack area
• Removing units from full cases in specified quantities
• Putting away any incoming product
• Checking quantities of pick-slots and filling as needed
• Staging product for loaders
• Ensuring item pick accuracy and safety of product to prevent product damage
• Maintaining sanitation in the aisles according to policy and procedure
• Performing other job-related duties as assigned

• Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
• Walking on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
