Johnstone Supply in Butler, PA is hiring a Warehouse Representative I to support receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping duties. You will operate standard warehouse equipment and ensure accurate inventory records in our system.

The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, basic math and computer skills, and a valid multi-state driver's license. We offer benefits, PTO, and retirement plans, with opportunities to train and advance.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Driver's license valid for PA/IN/OH/KY/WV with clean record.
• Forklift certification or training required.
• Experience in a warehouse environment preferred.

Mansioni

• Manage warehouse inventory and maintain database.
• Receives and processes incoming product shipments and helps unload delivery truck.
• Ensures shipments are inspected and damages are noted and documented.
• Initiates records as products enter and leave the warehouse through a computerized inventory control system
• Stores products in proper locations.
• Receives, pulls, and properly prepares all customer orders.
• Utilizes forklift, pallet jacks, and other equipment when needed to store or pull inventory.
• Monitors equipment to ensure safety and reports any issues to the supervisor.
• Helps load products on delivery truck or for customer.
• Ensures safety of the warehouse by keeping it clean and free of potential hazards.
• Assists with training of new employees.

Salary Range: $16.00 To $19.00 Hourly

nsures efficient operation of the store and responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock and other items. Essential Functions:

• Manages warehouse inventory and maintains database.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient using company’s inventory system.


• Basic math skills to manage and maintain inventory.


• Ability to multi-task.

Qualifications:

• Valid PA/IN/OH/KY/WV driver’s license with acceptable driving record for the past three years


• Certification and continuous training required by material handlers to operate heavy-lifting machinery like forklifts


• High School Diploma/GED required.

Physical Demands of the Job:

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and occasionally more.


• Ability to operate forklift.


• Ability to climb stairs/ladders.


• Ability to push/pull inventory items.


• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl occasionally in confined spaces.
