Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining all evaporators, condensers, compressors, vessels and pumps including overhauls and rebuilds.
• Assist in keeping accurate records on repairs and walk through inspections on entire refrigeration system.
• Assist in maintaining acceptable record keeping system to comply with EPA, OSHA, ANSI, and Homeland Security.
• Assist in the annual reporting of testing and inspection.
• Assist in the maintenance of all interior and exterior lighting.
• Assist in all building electrical systems and repair.
• Assist in preventive maintenance and repair of HVAC.
• Building and fabricating guards to protect equipment.

Skills

Basic understanding of electrical control switches

Basic understanding of electrical wiring

Basic welding and metal fabrication skills

Knowledge of basic plumbing

Ability to work a flexible schedule

Certification in ammonia refrigeration

Must be willing to obtain Hazwopper Certification

Good verbal and written communication skills

Position Overview

The Warehouse Refrigeration Spec Asst. position will assist and train in overseeing governmental compliance, maintenance and repair of our Warehouse Ammonia Refrigeration System. This position also supports our warehouse building maintenance department.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining all evaporators, condensers, compressors, vessels and pumps including overhauls and rebuilds.
• Assist in keeping accurate records on repairs and walk through inspections on entire refrigeration system.
• Assist in maintaining acceptable record keeping system to comply with EPA (including PSM and PHA compliance), OSHA, ANSI, and Homeland Security.
• Assist in the annual reporting of testing and inspection of A) Vibration Testing B) Oil Sample Analysis C)Refrigeration Water Treatment D) Thermo-graphic Scans
• Assist in the maintenance of all interior and exterior lighting on Ben E. Keith Property.
• Assist in all building electrical systems and repair.
• Assist in preventive maintenance and repair of HVAC (office air conditioning system).
• Building and fabricating guards to protect equipment

Qualifications
