Job summary

Parts Authority is hiring a Warehouse Receiving Team Lead to oversee the receiving and replenishment functions at our Laurel, MD location. You will guide a team, ensure accurate stock levels, and uphold safety and 5S standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills, with responsibilities spanning daily operations, reporting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• The Receiving Team Lead is responsibile for: helping plan, guide, and direct team members in an efficient and timely manner to meet the daily inventory replenishment demands, meet productivity expectations and work deadlines, handle administrative duties, trouble shooting, problem solving, training with all team members.and warehouse cleanup.
• Take directives and initiative to delegate and oversee the receiving process for the replenishment of thewarehouse.
• Assist with daily stocking, receiving and replenishment job duties to help navigate daily assignments toend of day completion.
• Monitor the daily receiving process with the DST/PA reps system, excel overstock reports, put awayrouters, company emails, consistent communication with needed parties, department productivity reportsfrequently to ensure department needs are met.
• Keep warehouse work areas clean, comply with 5S procedures/expectations, enforce warehouse safetyrules/procedures.
• Complete other requested or assigned job duties given by department head supervisor or managers.
