Job summary

Parts Authority is hiring Warehouse Associates to join our expanding distribution network. You will receive, label, and store stock, pick and pack customer orders, maintain accurate inventory records, and operate pallet jacks and other warehouse tools.

We value reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work well with teammates across shifts. This is a full-time on-site role with opportunities for advancement in a growing national distributor of automotive parts.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
• Regularly lift 10–50 lbs; up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Proven time management and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, label, and store incoming shipments; assess stock for damages.
• Maintain accurate inventory and records; fill customer orders.
• Pick items to fulfill orders and prepare shipments.
• Operate pallet jacks and warehouse equipment.
• Interface with management to achieve key objectives.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in the warehouse.
• Count stock and reconcile discrepancies.
• Assist with cycle counts and audits.

Responsibilities

• The warehouse associate is responsible for receiving,labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping aconcise record of inventory, and accurately filling customer orders. We only wantdynamic, career-minded people who are willing to dedicate themselves to this job.
• The warehouse associate is responsible for virtually of all day-to-day tasks that keepthe warehouse running efficiently. The Warehouse Associate is responsible forreceiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages,keeping a concise record of inventory, accurately filling customer orders, and pickingof parts to fulfill orders. We only want dynamic, career-minded people who arewilling to dedicate themselves to this job.
• Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock.
• Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock.
• Scan items into the warehouse management system
• Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages.
• Organizing the warehouse space.
• Preparing orders for shipment.
• Picking orders for shipment.
• Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments.
• Operating stock management tools: for example, powered industrialequipment and pallet jacks.
• Counting stock and keeping inventory records.
• Routine cleaning duties
• Interface with management to ensure key objectives are realized
• Maintain safety regulations and compliance with all applicable regulations

Minimum Requirements

• Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
• Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh upto 100 lbs.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach
• Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/ or stairs) or balance
• May be subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
• May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

• 1-2 years Warehouse experience preferred.
