Job summary

JB Tools in Livonia, MI is seeking a Warehouse Receiving Specialist to ensure incoming goods are inspected, verified, and stored accurately. You will work with team members to maintain organized inventory and support safe, efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous warehouse/receiving/inventory experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout shift.
• Forklift experience is a plus (hi-lo) and forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
• Verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Unload trucks and move inventory using forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment.
• Organize, label, and store inventory in designated locations.
• Count and stage boxes/pallets for storage and replenishment.
• Report missing, damaged, or incorrect items to vendors and management.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, safe receiving area and warehouse environment.
• Follow established receiving procedures and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and workflow.
