Job summary

Wickeder Group │ Engineered Materials Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Attendant with computer experience to support receiving and general logistics. The role focuses on preparing and packaging materials for shipment, verifying shipments, and aiding in warehouse operations.

The position requires high school education, warehouse experience, and proficient computer skills; Oracle experience is a plus. Sign-on bonus of $1,000 is offered, with a pay range of $20.00–$22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School or Equivalency Diploma.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Proficient computer skills, Oracle experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fill orders or requisitions for materials by locating, retrieving, unpackaging and kitting or delivering materials to plant locations.
• Verify correctness of shipments against bills of lading, invoices or other records.
• Check for shortages and reject damaged goods.
• Assist in loading and unloading of trucks and movement of materials to storage locations.
• Maintain an acceptable level of housekeeping order and cleanliness in the area.
• Receive materials, equipment, merchandise and similar items in a storeroom or warehouse.
• Store items in high/low bay racks, in bins or on the floor. Includes marking or tagging items for identification.
• Complete Oracle / Maximo inventory and other ERP transactions.
• Safely operate a fork lift truck, overhead crane or other material handling equipment.
• Prepare records of goods shipped by making bills of lading, posting weight and shipping charges and maintaining shipping records.
• Wear all required PPE at all times.
• Other duties as required.
