Job summary

Performance Food Group seeks a warehouse associate to oversee dock Receiving, inspecting quality and labeling of materials, and entering data into the inventory system. You will collaborate across teams to maintain efficient product flow while upholding safety standards.

Position requires standing, lifting, and readiness for overtime, with benefits starting Day 1 and growth opportunities within a supportive distribution network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 6–12 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift 10–35 pounds, up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving dock activities, inspect and verify quality of materials.
• Record counts and update inventory database accurately.
• Coordinate storage and move items with forklift/pallet jack.
• Prepare area for operations and maintain safe work environment.
• Perform housekeeping and assist with loading/unloading as needed.
