Job summary

Actalent is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Dayton, NV, to support shipping, receiving, inventory, and material handling in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The role ensures accurate receipt, storage, picking, packing and shipping while maintaining a safe, organized warehouse.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with preferred experience in warehouse/shipping, and forklift certification. Onsite work, with emphasis on safety, accuracy and teamwork within a contract-to-hire

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to become certified.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and shipping documentation.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

• Pick, gather, and pack customer orders for shipment.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Receive incoming materials and inspect shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Verify product types, quantities, and documentation against receiving paperwork.
• Print and apply shipping, pallet, drum, and inventory labels.
• Prepare freight documentation, packing lists, and shipment records.
• Stage materials and finished goods for storage or shipment.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy.
• Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management software.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
• Assist with additional warehouse and shipping duties as needed.
