Job summary
Staples, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Kansas City, MO to support our world-class supply chain team.
You may work in six areas: Bulk/Material Handling, Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Returns, and Shipping. You will operate forklifts and related equipment up to 100 lbs while following safety procedures and rotating roles as needed.
Must have basic English, lift 70–100 lbs, and be 18+. Overtime and a 4:00am–12:30pm shift are required as business needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to pass a drug screen where legal.
- Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
- Overtime hours may be required for full-time associates.
- Ability to lift 70–100 pounds by hand.
Responsibilities
- Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, pallet jacks) to move product up to 100 lbs.
- Perform Warehouse Bulk, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Returns, and Shipping tasks.
- Maintain safety procedures and clean work area.
- Communicate with teammates to resolve discrepancies and issues.
