Job summary

Staples Advantage Canada in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support six areas including bulk/material handling, replenishment, receiving, returns, shipping, and porter roles. The role requires operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers safely, with shift hours 7:00am-3:30pm or 9:00am-5:30pm.

You’ll join Staples' world-class supply chain team, with emphasis on safety, teamwork, and flexibility to move between SC1/SC2 roles as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment or equivalent training.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• Overtime may be required for full-time associates.
• Ability to lift 70–100 lbs and work at heights.
• Must wear safety composite shoes and stand/walk continuously.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks safely.
• Move products within the warehouse and assist with order picking and packing.
• Assist with receiving, putaway, returns, and shipping activities.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and adhere to safety procedures.
• Collaborate with teammates and communicate effectively to resolve issues.
