Job summary

Havertys Furniture Companies, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Receiving Material Handler in Braselton, GA. The role starts at $18.75 per hour with potential for higher pay based on experience. Schedule is Sunday-Thursday 8:00 PM to completion, with daily pay options available.

You will be responsible for unloading merchandise, moving items to racks, and ensuring safe handling to prevent damage. Safety training and PPE compliance are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Heavy lifting required.
• Must work Sunday through Thursday 8:00 PM until completion.
• Ability to pass Criminal Background check, Lifting Assessment and Drug Test.
• Previous warehouse experience a plus.
• Must complete and understand all company sponsored safety programs.

MAJOR FUNCTION

• Responsible for the proper handing and unloading of merchandise from containers and trailers

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Hand unloading of merchandise.
• Placing merchandise on carts to be transported in to our racks.
• Accountable for proper handling of materials and merchandise to minimize the potential for damage and injury.
• Accountable for adherence to company policies including safety and the use of personal protective equipment.
• Accountable for maintaining a clean and clear work environment, free from trip hazards.
