Job summary

Georg Fischer in Aurora, IL is seeking a Warehouse Receiving Associate to unload inbound shipments, verify quantities, and place items on designated shelves. You will support outbound shipments and document receivals while ensuring accuracy and safety. Proficiency with SAP and MS Office is a plus.

A HS diploma or GED is required, with 2+ years in a warehouse receiving environment preferred. Forklift certification if applicable is needed, and lifting up to 75 lbs (up to 150 lbs with assistance)

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Two or more years in a warehouse-receiving environment a plus.
• Forklift certification if operating forklift; Fusion Machine certification if applicable.
• Strong computer skills; MS Office; SAP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming shipments from trucks using forklift or manual handling.
• Check for damage or shortage; sign bills of lading with exceptions.
• Place items on shelf in designated space; assist outbound shipments as needed.
• Document received shipments and match with open purchase orders.
• Process RMAs; verify items, quantities, and forward to the right person.
• Assist with data entry of received goods and other warehouse tasks.
• Maintain receiving area clean and safe per EMS standards.
• Adhere to safety principles and protect confidential information.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
