Job summary

Georg Fischer Central Plastics LLC is seeking a warehouse associate responsible for selecting, packing, and shipping customer and manufacturing orders. You will operate forklifts, use SAP for inventory tasks, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role requires a high school diploma, forklift certification, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Overtime may be required to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have some verifiable forklift experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow all company policies and procedures.
• Understand and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure guards and safety equipment are installed and checked.
• Follow ISO documentation and work procedures.
• Perform daily safety inspections per lift per shift.
• Use SAP to scan locations, boxes and pallets to pick, pack, and ship orders.
• Safely operate order-picking equipment and forklifts.
• Look up inventory levels and priorities on computer.
• Load and unload trucks with forklift.
• Communicate clearly with co-workers, leads, supervisors and managers.
• Adhere to ISO 9001, 14001 and OSHAS 18001 requirements.
• Assist inventory control by reporting deviations.
• Maintain a safe working environment and attend as scheduled.
