Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Floor Clerk in Connelly Springs, NC to manage the flow of goods on the warehouse floor, inspect shipments, and keep records accurate.

The role supports transportation and warehousing operations, requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to operate basic warehouse equipment safely.

This position is 30 hours a week with a starting wage based on experience, and may include seasonal overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks or forklifts (certification preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to stand, lift, and move materials for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Organize and maintain blanks on the warehouse floor, ensuring proper staging.
• Coordinate with forklift operators and other warehouse personnel to move goods efficiently.
• Prepare and process shipping documents, including packing lists and bills of lading.
• Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies or damages to supervisors promptly.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse floor to promote a safe working environment.
• Use warehouse management systems to update inventory records and track shipments.
• Oversee management of waste and cardboard in all areas.
