Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Receiving Associate to support warehouse operations at our Raleigh store. The role includes unloading, auditing and staging product to recover store inventory, with both full-time and part-time openings available.

You will ensure paperwork is complete, store products properly, rotate inventory and follow safety procedures, including forklift certification where applicable. Expect a warehouse environment with regular hours and peak-season scheduling.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience driving a forklift is preferred.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Attentive to detail.
• Ability to work in different weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet established deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Act in a manner consistent with the company’s core values.
• Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection.
• Ensure all receiving paperwork is properly completed.
• Ensure products are stored properly to conserve space and follow safety procedures.
• Oversee the rotation of inventories within the warehouse.
• Perform other related duties as directed by management.
• Demonstrate understanding and compliance with safe lifting practices and SOPs.
• Complete required department and equipment training (forklift certified).
