Job summary

Omaha Steaks is seeking a Warehouse Receiving Clerk for 2nd shift in Omaha. You will receive perishable products from plants and vendors, verify counts, maintain inventory accuracy and rotate stock in proper temp environments. The role offers training, growth opportunities, and a collaborative team in a family-owned operation.

Full-time schedule, evening hours 4:00pm-12:30am, with weekends off based on business needs; safety-focused culture with Star Safety Award recognition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• 6 months of receiving/inventory experience desirable.
• Ability to follow directions accurately and maintain attention to detail.
• Must demonstrate binocular vision.

Responsibilities

• Receives all perishable products from plants and external vendors.
• Ensures proper count and product specs; notifies supervisors of discrepancies.
• Counts and verifies weekly physical inventory.
• Monitors IOH report and corrects discrepancies with Supervisor.
• Rotates stock and maintains product in proper temperature environment.
• Helps clean and level pallets for inventory.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Essential job duties:

• Responsible for accuratelyreceiving all perishable products from the plants outside vendors andoutside storage.
• Ensures proper count andproduct specs and notifies appropriate personnel of unusual situations.
• Counts and verifies weeklyphysical inventory.
• Monitors IOH report andrectifies discrepancies with Supervisor.
• Performs other relatedduties.
• Responsible for accuratelyrotating stock and maintaining the integrity of the product by ensuring itis in the proper temp environment.
• Helps clean and level palletsfor inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• High school diploma orequivalent is preferred.
• Forklift experience ispreferred.
• Must be able to read, write,and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• 6 months - Receiving andinventory experience is desirable.
• Must be able to follow andunderstand directions accurate
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must demonstrate binocularvision

Schedule Requirements:

Fulltime, 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, 4:00pm-12:30am. Hours are based on
business needs.
