Jackson's Hardware, INC in San Rafael, CA is seeking a Warehouse Receiving Associate to support store operations by managing inbound shipments and inventory flow. You will unload trucks, match POs to SOs, and coordinate with sales staff to distribute items for processing.

A 1–2 year receiving background and forklift experience help ensure a safe, organized warehouse. Must have a valid driver's license, be able to lift up to 60 lbs, and work flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of receiving experience preferred.
• Forklift experience desired for efficient material handling.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all shipping and receiving operations (unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders).
• Distribute received items to sales associates for processing.
• Move materials and items from receiving areas to storage, sales floor, or shipping.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and accessible warehouse for associates and customers.
• Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate methods.
• Open and break down bales, crates, and other containers.
• Pick up and deliver merchandise to vendors and customers.

About the Role

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of receiving experience, forklift experience, and a clean driving record. You will play an essential part in supporting store operations, maintaining inventory flow, and ensuring our warehouse remains a safe and organized environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication
• Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods
• Ability to lift materials up to 60 lbs.
• Basic computer skills

Store Hours

Mon-Fri: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm

Sat: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm

(Saturday availability is required.)
