The Warehouse Receiving Associate is responsible for performing day-to-day receiving responsibilities and inventory control. Responsibilities include verifying vendors shipped the appropriate components/parts and keep accurate records in real time. Warehouse Receiving Associates do inventory audits and control to prevent/discover inventory discrepancies. The Receiver is also required to use company equipment such as a forklift and cherry picker.
Work is performed with exposure to harsh conditions such as dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures for extended periods of time.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk and hear. Sitting 20%, standing/walking 80%. Frequently lift and or move up to 40 pounds and 50 pounds occasionally.
