Job summary

ShopRite of Birney Plaza in Moosic, PA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to deliver a great customer experience while safely maintaining a neat, clean warehouse. You will ensure accurate receiving of deliveries and protect company assets.

The role includes following QA standards, assisting customers, and performing duties per ShopRite policies. Requirements include strong English, basic math, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the stamina to stand for long shifts.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak English and understand basic math.
• Able to stand/walk for an entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products and tolerate dust/cleaning agents.

Responsibilities

• Monitor grocery storage area for cleanliness and prepare for next shift.
• Handle damaged or return-to-stock items per policy, prioritizing refrigerated items.
• Verify invoices for accuracy including cost, retail and quantity.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance.
• Ensure safety procedures when operating equipment and rotating products.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment; sanitize surfaces and equipment.
