Job summary

Mid-State Supply in Louisiana is seeking a detail-oriented Receiver to manage incoming shipments, sign paperwork, inspect items, and ensure accurate storage. You will help move products into the warehouse or storage area and assist in pulling orders as needed.

You will support inventory counts, track movements with a bar code scanner, and input data into the database, serving as a backup to the Warehouse Supervisor during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt.
• Unload packages from incoming trucks.
• Inspect contents for damage.
• Verify packages against orders and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.).
• Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control, cycle counts.
