Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Receiver to join our high-volume facility in Hebron Estates, Kentucky. The position involves receiving, inspecting, and placing goods into stock, while managing inbound dock flow and ensuring product quality for resale.

You will operate a reach truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment, with at least 50% time spent in the freezer area. The role requires physical stamina, reliability, and teamwork in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift 50 pounds or more.
• 1 year distribution warehouse experience preferred (reach truck/pallet jack/forklift).
• Ability to read, write and understand English at a functional level.

Responsibilities

• Receive new and returned product entering the building.
• Ensure product is saleable and ready for resale.
• Control inbound flow of the dock.
• Work in Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables, Freezer areas; may work in freezer at least 50% of shift.
• Review documents and verify quantity, identity, availability and condition of product.
• Operate reach truck and pallet jack; stock and sort materials.
• Hand-stack when needed; remove shrink wrap; maintain clean work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
