Job summary

HMSHost is hiring a Warehouse Receiver to handle shipment reception, ticketing, stocking, and order processing for stores. You will verify records, inspect goods, and coordinate with transport services while maintaining inventory accuracy and adhering to HACCP standards.

This non-exempt role reports to the Warehouse Manager or General Manager as required. Key duties include processing deliveries on schedule, stocking efficiently, and supporting store requisitions with accurate order fulfillment

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policy documents.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to drive a truck safely and maintain a valid driver's license (as applicable).
• Must stand, bend, twist, and perform normal job functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to internal and external customers in receiving, processing and distributing merchandise and supplies to stores.
• Complies with delivery schedules; accurately, timely, and efficiently processes deliveries.
• Executes ticketing process according to Company standards.
• Accurately and efficiently stocks shipments.
• Pulls, prepares, and processes daily orders according to requisitions generated by the stores.
• Reviews orders for accuracy.
• Utilizes computer to manage accurate inventory for warehouse operations.
• Assists in the transportation of orders between the warehouse and stores.
• Identifies damaged and expired products.
• Implements product rotation based on product code dates in warehouse.
• Follows all security and safety procedures established by the Company and Branch.
• Maintains fixtures and equipment storage and assists with bin location upkeep and inventory.
• Maintains HACCP charts, walk-in coolers and freezers where applicable.
