Job summary

ShopRite is seeking a Receiver for the Elmwood Park location to ensure accurate receiving of deliveries and maintain a clean, organized warehouse. The role focuses on customer service, safety, and efficiency, with duties including inspecting invoices, stocking, and assisting customers.

The position is part-time and non-union, with benefits available after eligibility. Work involves lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and adhering to company policies and QA standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for a full shift.
• Ability to regularly lift 25 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.

Responsibilities

• Monitor storage area for cleanliness and organization.
• Handle damaged or returned products per policy, prioritizing refrigerated items.
• Verify invoices for cost, retail and quantity.
• Greet customers and provide prompt service.
• Observe safety regulations when operating equipment.
• Unload trucks and move merchandise as required.
