Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate to oversee the receiving dock area, inspect and verify quality, count, label, and coordinate storage of materials entering the facility. Enter data into the inventory system and help maintain efficient flow in production.

You will work with forklift operators, ensure safety compliance, and perform duties that support day-to-day operations in a multi-temperature warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 6 - 12 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to lift and stack product between 10-35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally; work in multi-temperature environments.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies, keep the work area safe, and report unsafe conditions.
• Open and prepare the dock area to receive products; verify against schedules and bills of lading.
• Inspect incoming trailers and ensure quality; enter data into the inventory system.
• Coordinate storage of supplies and assist forklift operators in moving pallets.
• Perform general housekeeping and complete paperwork as required.
