Job summary

Coastal Sunbelt Produce is seeking a Receiving Clerk to verify timely and accurate receipts of produce and related items in our Maryland warehouse. You will inspect quantity and quality, enter data, and assist with paperwork while supporting efficient warehouse operations.

Typical shift is 9:00am–5:00pm, Monday through Friday, with a 5-day work week. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs (occasional 80 lbs) and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Prefer High School or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years related experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, occasionally 80 lbs, in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect received product for weight, condition, temperature, and quality.
• Count all items received accurately.
• Tag products with slot label and ensure proper rotation.
• Complete paperwork including purchase orders, rotation reports and spoilage logs.

$18.00 - $20.00 Based off experience.

• Ensuring the product is properly received by physically inspecting the product for weight, condition, temperature, and quality.
• Accurately counting of all items received.
• Tags all products with slot label and ensures proper rotation of product.
• Properly complete all paperwork including purchase orders (P.O.) rotation reports and spoilage logs.

Physical Demand

• Frequent lifting of products up to 50 lbs. during the shift, infrequent lifting up to 80 lbs.
