Job summary

C&S Wholesale Services, LLC is seeking an Inbound Receiving Clerk to help keep our communities fed. You will greet drivers, log receipts, and coordinate deliveries while maintaining accurate records and attention to detail.

This role supports a team in a fast-paced distribution environment, with emphasis on safety and operational efficiency. The position is 1st shift, Monday–Friday, with a 9:00am–5:30pm schedule.

Qualifications

• Six months of warehouse experience or more.
• Electric pallet jack experience preferred.
• Strong planning and execution skills.
• Ability to collaborate with others to achieve goals.
• Commitment to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet incoming truck drivers and direct to unloading bay.
• Enter PO receipts into system and print receiving tags.
• Coordinate with carrier reps to arrange deliveries and provide instructions.
• Communicate with customers and vendors to resolve damages or shortages.
• Occasional safe lifting of varying weights.

First shift ONLY

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm.

Grocery (dry goods) – about 50°- 90°

Job Description

You will contribute by

• Greeting incoming outside truck drivers and directing to proper unloading bay
• Entering purchase order receipts into computer system and printing receiving tags for use by Receivers
• Contacting carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for delivery of materials
• Conferring and corresponding with customers, vendors and others to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and non-conformance to specifications
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
