Job summary

Shamrock Foods Company in Portland, OR is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, store, and distribute materials across our facilities. Starting pay is $24.35 per hour and the schedule is Monday - Friday, 2:00am - finish, with full-time employment.

Responsibilities include sorting and placing materials, weighing and counting items, operating forklift and pallet jack, and maintaining accurate records using a computer. Regular attendance and reliability are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores, and distributes material and products within establishments.
• Sorts and places materials on docks according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Sorts goods according to temperature zones
• Marks materials with identifying information
• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed
• Communicates with purchasing department
• To operate forklift and pallet jack
• Communicate with lumper, driver on unloading procedures
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
• Uses computer to enter records
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.
