Job summary

Navigate Search is seeking a lead quality inspector to own quality within a high-volume industrial distribution warehouse supporting automotive and aerospace customers. This hands-on leadership role suits someone who proactively identifies opportunities and drives ongoing improvements.

You will lead quality inspection, develop and refine SOPs, and partner with operations to enhance quality, accuracy, and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to take initiative and lead process improvements.
• Experience developing and implementing SOPs and work instructions.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, Lotus Notes and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail balancing quality, productivity, and customer requirements.
• Experience in an industrial distribution/manufacturing or high-value warehouse environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality inspection and control activities across the warehouse.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve SOPs, inspection procedures, and quality processes.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
• Partner with operations and warehouse leadership to improve quality, accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
• Support customer-specific quality requirements, particularly within automotive and aerospace sectors.
• Leverage data and reporting to identify trends and drive decisions.
• Provide guidance and leadership to warehouse personnel on quality standards and processes.

We are seeking a lead quality inspector to take ownership of quality within a high volume industrial distribution warehouse environment, supporting automotive and aerospace customers.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone with experience working with high volume Skews . The ideal candidate is a proactive problem, solver who can identify opportunities challenge existing processes, and drive meaningful improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead quality inspection and control activities across the warehouse
• Develop implement and continuously improve SOP's inspection, procedures, and quality processes
• Identify which causes an implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
• Partner with operations and warehouse leadership to improve quality, accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
• Support customer specific quality requirements, particularly within the automotive and aerospace sectors
• Leverage data Jory systems and reporting to identify trends and drive decisions
• Provide guidance and leadership to warehouse personnel on quality standards and processes

Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, things, strategically, and lead process improve improvements
• Experience developing and implementing SOP's and work instructions
• Familiarity ERP systems, Lotus Notes and Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance quality, productivity, and customer requirements
• Experience with an industrial distribution manufacturing or high value warehouse environment preferred but not required
