Job summary

Rural King in Michigan is seeking a warehouse puller to retrieve and consolidate freight in the distribution center using cherry pickers, reach trucks, and forklifts. You’ll move orders to the correct induction lanes and help put away inbound freight for stores.

Candidates should have at least one year of warehouse experience, be able to count, and work well in a fast-paced team environment. Safety and accuracy are essential to meet KPI goals.

Qualifications

• One year of warehouse/manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
• Ability to count and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• As a puller, you will use equipment such as cherry pickers, reach trucks, and forklifts to retrieve and consolidate freight in the distribution center.
• Pullers will retrieve warehouse orders and move them to the proper induction lanes so the cargo can go to the stores.
• They will also locate warehouse locations to put away inbound freight for later retrieval to send to stores.
