Job summary

Iron Mountain Incorporated is seeking a Warehouse/Project Center Specialist to support operations by securely handling customer assets and processing storage containers in our record centers. You will ensure accuracy, safety, and adherence to security standards while managing daily throughput and coordinating with team members.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in a warehouse, records center, or similar operations environment.
• Proficiency in prepping and packing files for shipping to the IM Warehouse.
• Willingness to travel to customer site.
• Strong data entry and inventory accuracy skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and fulfill customer orders using the Safekeeper system, handling ~200 boxes daily.
• Perform physical logistics: load/unload, move, weigh, sort, disassemble items with required tools.
• Maintain secure, clean work area and protect customer information at all times.

Iron Mountain is seeking a dedicated Warehouse/Project Center Specialist to join our Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of customer assets while efficiently processing and managing secure storage containers within our record center. Your commitment to accuracy and safety is essential to our promise of protecting what our customers value most.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

• Process and fulfill customer orders by utilizing the Safekeeper system to accurately scan carton barcodes and locations, managing an average of 200 secure storage boxes daily for retrieval or return.
• Execute all physical logistics, including safely loading and unloading trailers, moving, weighing, sorting, and disassembling items, while safely operating necessary tools and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and security protocols by maintaining a clean, secure work area and rigorously safeguarding customer information at all times.

What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

• One to two (1-2) years of experience in a warehouse, records center, or similar operations environment.
• Ability to Prep and Packing of files for shipping to the IM Warehouse.
• Must be willing to travel to customer site.
• Strong knowledge of basic computer-related equipment, data entry, and industry tools, paired with excellent organization and attention to detail to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Proven ability in safely performing physical tasks, including regularly lifting up to 60 pounds, and remaining stationary or performing repetitive motions for extended periods (e.g., climbing, stooping, pushing, and pulling).
• High School diploma or equivalent with proficiency in English reading, writing, and communication skills.
