Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. Dayton, NJ is seeking a Part Time Forklift Driver for the 2nd shift. The role requires at least 1 year of forklift experience and the ability to operate Order Picker, Reach Truck, Pacers, and Turret.

It is an onsite position with strong emphasis on attendance, teamwork, and safety. The position offers a 4:00 PM–8:30 PM schedule, pays $20.50 per hour, and requires reading SKU locations and using PKMS for inventory management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• At least 1 year of forklift experience in operating: Order Picker, Reach Truck, Pacer, & Turret.
• This is an onsite and in office role.
• Excellent attendance and willingness to be part of a team – performing whatever duties are necessary.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to learn warehouse management system functions (PKMS).
• Ability to read and verify locations and SKU numbers.
• Willing and able to be cross trained and certified to operate any or all WSI DDC equipment: Reach Tracker, Pacers, Swing Reach, Order Picker/TT, Motorized Pallet Jack.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and be a fast learner.
• Flexible to work overtime as required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Work with leadership to ensure the completion of all tasks by end of each day.
• Complete daily pick for the Hub with the use of our inventory management system.
• Utilizing the orders to understand where items need to be moved – may or may not include power equipment.
• Utilizing the warehouse system to maintain and uphold inventory accuracy.
• Ensuring the completion of all staging/sweeping tasks using power equipment.
• Loads and unloads, stacks, and stages products utilizing multiple types of power equipment.
• Ensure organization and housekeeping of aisles and surroundings daily.
• Promote safety awareness and cultivate the safety culture throughout the company to help avoid unsafe or hazardous working conditions.
• Other duties as instructed.
