Surge is seeking an experienced Warehouse Loader for the 2nd shift in Branchburg, NJ. The role involves picking customer orders, operating material handling equipment, and preparing products for shipment.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of warehouse experience and is comfortable operating sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and electric rider pallet jacks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 2 years of warehouse experience.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Experience operating an electric rider pallet jack.
• Experience with order picking and palletizing.
• Ability to read labels and shipping information accurately.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pull customer orders for shipment.
• Verify product types and quantities before orders are shipped.
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and electric rider pallet jacks as required.
• Move completed orders to shipping and delivery areas.
• Select, stack, and safely secure products on pallets.
• Inspect pallets for proper labeling, shipping information, and safe load configuration.
• Repack and weigh orders as needed.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Place inventory into designated warehouse racking locations.
• Break down and restack merchandise as needed.
• Verify shipments for accuracy and inspect products for damage.
• Identify and report damaged or nonconforming products.
• Complete required warehouse paperwork and documentation.
• Assist with physical inventory counts.
• Perform equipment safety inspections before use.
• Immediately report unsafe equipment or warehouse conditions.
• Help maintain a clean, organized warehouse by sweeping, dusting, mopping, and organizing work areas.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and required PPE guidelines.
• Assist with ordering warehouse supplies when needed.
