Job summary

Nature's World, a Charlie's Produce company, is seeking a Production Associate for the Nature World production team in Seattle, WA. The role supports the production line for snack foods such as dehydrated fruit, produce, and nuts, with responsibilities including packaging, labeling, and quality checks.

The position runs Monday through Friday from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, with holidays and weekends and overtime expected.

Qualifications

• Must pass drug and background check
• Good personal hygiene practices
• Reliable form of transportation
• Flexible / dependable to work on days scheduled
• Ability to follow directions and quickly transition
• Basic math skills and ability to read weight scales
• Able to work in fast paced work environment
• Able to work with a small team
• Able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to stand for long lengths of time
• Ability to safely work with and around nuts

Responsibilities

• Meets daily with supervisor to discuss daily duties such as location, area, aisle to be assigned to and worked.
• Maintain warehouse stock as requested by shipping as well as our warehouse inventory management program.
• Picking and receiving product as needed.
• Operators will be responsible for checking quality on product going into stock as well as assuring product is safely placed into inventory.
• Assist with the operation of the production line(s) of individual snack food items.
• We are a company that deals with dehydrated fruit, produce, nuts, and other snack foods.
• Packaging
• Running the label machine
• Refilling labels
• Adjustments of rails
• Adjustments of head heights
• Label placement on tubs
• Label corrections
• Train new employees on GMP's, sanitation duties, mixing, production duties, and labeling
• Additional tasks as they are assigned

Nature’s World is a Charlie's Produce company and is an employee owned and operated business that started at the Walker Family kitchen table in Lake Tapps, Washington. They have been delivering premium dried fruit, nuts, trail mixes, candies and other snacks since January of 1987. Today the company operates out of Seattle WA and is seeking a Production Associate for our Nature World production team.
