A well-established Columbus manufacturing facility is hiring Warehouse / Production Associatesto join our team producing vinyl siding and other exterior building products.

This is a hands-on factory, productionand packagingposition with opportunities to work additional overtime for employees who want to maximizetheir weeklyearnings.

No previous manufacturing experience required — we will train the right candidates!

Experience inwarehouse, production, manufacturing, packaging, assembly, material handling, shipping, quality inspection or general labor is helpful, but we're also interested in dependable candidates who are willing to learn.

What You'll Do

• Inspecting vinyl siding and other exterior building products as they come off theproduction line
• Performing quality inspection to check products for color, size, defects and overall appearance
• Using a tape measure to verify product dimensions and ensure accurate specifications
• Packaging finished products and preparing materials for shipping
• Performing hands-on assemblyand production tasks as needed
• Moving, stacking and organizing materials throughout the facility
• Performing materialhandlingand other generallaborduties
• Following production instructions, safety procedures and quality standards
• Working as part of a team to meet daily factory production goals

Qualifications

We're looking for dependable people who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical warehouseand manufacturingenvironment.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Ability to stand, walk and perform repetitive work for extended periods

• Ability to regularly lift and move materials as required

• A willingness to learn and work as part of a team

Previous warehouse, factory, manufacturing, production, assembly, packaging, shipping/receiving, material handling, quality inspection, machine operation or general labor experience is a plus — but not required.

Pay & Overtime

1st Shift: $18/hr — 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
3rd Shift: $19/hr — 7:00 PM–7:00 AM

Optional overtime is readily available.

Many employees work 60+ hours per week, and employees who take advantage of significant overtime opportunities can earn up to $1,500+ in a high-overtime week, depending on hours worked.

If you want the opportunity to work additional hours and substantially increase your weekly paycheck, this position offers plenty of overtime.

Schedule

This is a 12-hour rotating 2-2-3 schedule.Employees work a combination of days and nights based on their assigned rotation.

The schedule provides a consistent rotation and includes every other weekend off.

Important Job Details

This is a physical production and manufacturing position, not a traditional office or climate-controlled warehouse job.

The facility is non-climate-controlled, and the job involves:

• Extended periods of standing and walking
• Repetitive production and packaging work
• Bending, reaching and moving throughout the facility
• Regular material handling and lifting
• Working around an active manufacturing/production environment
