A&C Plastics, Inc. in Houston, TX is hiring a Warehouse Production Assistant for a full-time, on-site role. You’ll join a small team building skylights from start to finish. Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5:30pm, with $18/hour plus benefits.

You'll cut, form and assemble components, read measurements and work orders, inspect finished units, and keep the shop organized. Power tool experience and ability to lift up to 100 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Power tools experience required.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Experience with fabrication, carpentry, sheet metal, glazing, or plastics is a plus; training provided.
• Able to read measurements and use basic shop math.
• Comfortable using a tape measure and doing basic shop math.
• 18+ years old with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Cut, form, and assemble skylight components from acrylic and polycarbonate.
• Assemble and fasten skylight frames using power and hand tools.
• Read measurements and work orders to build to spec.
• Inspect finished units for quality before shipping.
• Package, label, and load skylights for orders and will-call pickups.
• Keep workstation, tools, and shop clean and organized.
• Support the team on a three-person crew.

Warehouse Production Assistant (Full Time) - Houston, TX

WAREHOUSE PRODUCTION ASSISTANT A leader in the plastics industry is looking for a hands-on, dependable person to join our team in Houston. You’ll be part of a small, close-knit team that builds commercial and residential skylights from start to finish. If you like working with your hands, take pride in quality work, and want to learn a trade, we’ll train you.

HOURS: Monday - Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm.

COMPENSATION: $18.00/hour + benefits (overtime as needed)

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Cut, form, and assemble acrylic and polycarbonate skylight components
• Assemble and fasten skylight frames using power and hand tools
• Read measurements and work orders to build to spec
• Inspect finished units for quality before they ship
• Package, label, and load finished skylights for customer orders and will-call pickups
• Keep your workstation, tools, and shop clean and organized
• Support the team wherever needed. On a crew of three, everyone pitches in.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Power tool experience required
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs
• Experience with fabrication, carpentry, sheet metal, glazing, or plastics is a big PLUS, but we’ll train the right person
• Comfortable using a tape measure and doing basic shop math
• Forklift experience preferred, not required
• 18+ years old with a clean driving record
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Dependable, with excellent attendance. On a small team, attendance is a BIG deal.
• Detail-oriented. Our customers count on skylights that fit right and don’t leak.
