Job summary

Lamons is seeking a warehouse associate to pack and ship gaskets, pull and pack orders, and process inbound transfers. The role includes stocking, labeling, loading trucks, and maintaining organized storage areas.

Cross-training across all warehouse operations is required to ensure efficient, on-time delivery. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic MS Office skills, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year warehouse/shipping experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; continuous standing.
• Basic computer skills and MS Office.
• Team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Packs and ships gaskets as requested by customer.
• Pull & Pack orders for outgoing.
• Process inbound transfers and freight for receipt.
• Stock products in designated locations; maintain daily inventory.
• Assemble boxes for shipments and ensure boxes are properly marked.
• Load all trucks with outbound freight.
• Keep Will Call area organized and current.
• Cross-train on all warehouse operations.
• Coordinate with supervisor to keep propane tanks filled when needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform other duties as required to meet on-time delivery.
• May complete other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Processes gasket and bolt shipments by assisting in pulling products from storage and preparing and packing orders. Processes incoming and outgoing stock and stores all products in designated locations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Packs and ship gaskets as requested by customer.


• Pull & Pack orders for outgoing.


• Processes Inbound Transfers, UPS, FedEx or any incoming freight to be received.


• Puts stock up on designated locations/shelving and maintains daily inventory.


• Performs daily jobs for Gaskets and Stud Bolts required by Clients.


• Assembles boxes for shipments and monitors daily any boxes staged and due but not shipped.


• Load all trucks with out-going freight.


• Keep Will Call area organized and current.


• Cross training required on all warehouse operations.


• Monitor Propane tanks ensuring capacity is maintained and coordinate with supervisor to get tanks filled when necessary.


• Pick from location listed on pick ticket making sure to verify that length and diameter as well as material is correct before packaging.


• Palletize orders with more than 5 boxes.


• Advise sales of any shortage’s online items


• Mark each line item with box # and ensure line item corresponds to marking on the box or boxes.


• Maintain a neat clean work environment; pick up any box packing and tear off box flaps as you go.


• Perform other tasks as required to meet on-time delivery of customer orders which may include any other warehouse function not listed above.


• May complete other duties as assigned.

Skills

• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions/documents.


• Beginner level computer capabilities and is proficient in Microsoft Office.

Education

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience

• Preferred:1 year ofwarehouse or shipping experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push/pull.


• Continuous standing and/or walking.


• Works frequently with weight of 10 - 50 lbs. and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. independently.


• Ability to work in an ever-changing work environment including but not limitedto cold, hot, and/or dusty environment, as well as noisy conditions.
