Job summary

Kamco Supply Corp. of Boston is seeking a Warehouse Employee/Forklift Operator to efficiently receive, store, and distribute building materials. You will support drivers, prepare customer orders, and operate forklifts while maintaining safety and accuracy.

The role requires experience in warehouse tasks, reliable attendance, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A team-oriented mindset and willingness to load/unload materials are essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior warehouse or building materials experience.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
• Team-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable attendance and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and move incoming materials to storage or staging areas.
• Sort and stock materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to procedures.
• Pick, assemble, and prepare customer orders for pickup and delivery.
• Load and unload materials onto trucks, including manual handling when required.
• Assist drivers with deliveries and related labor activities as needed.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Perform shipping, receiving, and order picking to support daily operations.
• Maintain accurate material identification through labeling and documentation.
• Support inventory control activities, including cycle counts and RF scanning.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment with clear aisles.
• Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Provide professional and courteous service to internal and external customers.
