Job summary

Kroger Great Lakes Distribution Center is seeking a warehouse associate responsible for operating power lift equipment to support efficient merchandise flow within the distribution center. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to corporate policies.

The position involves moving products, placing items in correct locations, loading trailers, and fulfilling store orders with a strong sense of urgency. Training for equipment use is provided where required.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED plus one year experience in work or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; present information clearly.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations and handle measurements.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Use power lift equipment to move product from receiving areas to storage areas; replenish order selection locations; loads trailers.
• Place incoming merchandise in proper location, moving items as needed.
• Move pallets and separate pallets as required.
• Retrieve merchandise orders for stores.
• Perform all essential tasks safely and in compliance with policies.
