Job summary
Kroger is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Phoenix, AZ distribution center. You will operate power lift equipment to move, store, and load merchandise, supporting efficient receiving and order fulfillment.
The role requires basic math, ability to read simple instructions, and a willingness to work weekends and overtime. Training on equipment is provided; safety and policy adherence is essential.
Qualifications
- High school education or GED plus one year experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic and measurements.
- Ability to carry out written or oral instructions.
- Age 18 or older.
- Willingness to work weekends and overtime.
- Ability to operate hand truck, pallet jack, and power lift equipment (training provided).
Responsibilities
- Move product from receiving to storage using power lift equipment; replenish and load trailers.
- Place incoming merchandise in correct warehouse locations and rearrange to create space.
- Separate and move pallets as needed.
- Retrieve merchandise orders by stores.
- Perform essential functions safely in accordance with policies.
