Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC in Westfield, MA is seeking a Porter to maintain clean and safe warehouse environments during the night shift. The role involves stocking, cleaning spills, and assisting with general duties in a fast-paced setting.

The position offers a starting rate of $22.00 per hour (including freezer premium and shift differential), with paid training and benefits from day one. Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday, 7:00 PM–5:30 AM, at 61 Medeiros Way, Westfield.

Qualifications

• Attendance required.
• General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or higher.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Replace products and clean behind pallet jacks.
• Sweep, mop, and wax floors; clean bathrooms and offices as needed.

Position Overview

These critical roles help to support our prideful work environment and the delivery of high quality product to our customers.

Job Description

• Earn $19.00 per hour + $2.00 freezer premium pay + $1.00 shift differential ($22.00 total start rate)
• Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday
• Night Shift: 7:00PM to 5:30AM
• 61 Medeiros Way, Westfield MA 01089

You will contribute by:

• Clean and maintain warehouse aisles and product slots.
• Clean spills including damaged product, oil, grease, broken glass, etc. May require use of sawdust, brooms, mops, or shovels.
• Clean slot with cleaning supplies and an electric scrubber, and replace product.
• Occasionally pull product out of the slot with a pallet jack and cleaning behind it with the proper supplies and a scrubber.
• Cleaning break areas and offices when necessary.
• Collecting and baling plastic wrap throughout your shift.
• Sweep, mop, buff and wax floors. Vacuum carpeted offices/working areas.
• Clean bathrooms. (May be required to use bleach products.)
• Collect shredded paper and empty boxes. Collect paper to be taken to compactor. Empty trash cans.
• Clean fire extinguishers. Clean windows. Ensure lights are turned off and doors are locked when appropriate.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Travel Required: No
