Job Purpose: As a Warehouse Plant Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind efficient, accurate, and on-time equipment distribution. From optimizing daily operations to leading process improvements, you’ll ensure our warehouse runs at peak performance—delivering value to both the business and our customers.
Here’s how your time will be spent making a direct impact:
Manage Daily Warehouse Operations (25%)
Oversee shipping, receiving, reconditioning, and storage processes while monitoring team productivity, safety, and quality targets.
Oversee Equipment Returns (20%)
Ensure timely processing and reconditioning of returned equipment. Handle discrepancies with customers and log communications.
Direct Shipping & Trucking Operations (20%)
Coordinate equipment reallocation, optimize freight, and adjust shipping schedules to meet customer needs.
Lead & Develop Team Members (10%)
Hire, train, coach, and manage warehouse employees. Conduct performance reviews and address disciplinary actions.
Ensure Quality & Inventory Standards (10%)
Inspect materials for compliance and maintain inventory accuracy through proper storage and handling procedures.
Maintain Safety & Facility Standards (10%)
Oversee environmental and safety protocols to ensure a clean, secure, and efficient operation.
Handle Special Projects (5%)
Tackle other responsibilities as needed, including support for international shipments and operational initiatives.
College degree or equivalent experience
6–8 years in manufacturing or distribution management
Ability to read blueprints is required
Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
PC proficiency and data-driven decision-making abilities
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
